I posted this in another thread, but this definately is worthy of its own topic. 2 years ago, I chose a Tiburon GT over a Scion TC and never looked back. For a Hyundai, this car has served me pretty damn well. Easily the best car I've ever driven.

Being the car enthusiast that I am, I modded the hell out of it. I'd list all the parts, but that'd be way too much typing. The important facts are that it is running an 11psi intercooled and alcohol injected supercharger. I'm proud to say that I installed every modification myself. The total cost of the project (including the car) was about $22,000.

For those of you who can't believe me, I made a short compilation video featuring some engine shots, a few races, and of course your favorite theme music. I have tons of other recorded street races that can be posted at request.

Hasn't been dyno'd since I got the lower crank pulley and alcohol injection. It was at 270hp/260tq with my 7psi setup, so easily 325whp. Not bad for a 2900lb car. Going to search through some of my videos and put up some good street races (I always keep the camera in the car). 1/4 mile in the high 12's on a good day.
 
Nice, I have an 05 tib, planning on going with a turbo for the v6 (SE version, same as GT) but we will see how many years befoire I have money for a project like that

have you dyno'd? stats, times, come on!
 
Yea i saw this vid in the other post and that car looks pretty damn sweet off the line.
I always thought Tibs were ok cars, but i'd rather have something else.

Yah, but I'd rather not spoil my good name on there lol.

Don't even try to tell me this car is only good in a straight line. I recently won the Triple Crown Tuner Speed Challenge. It is a 2.5mile road course. Among the defeated cars are a 700hp Twin Turbo 300zx. I might show up in Modified Magazine and Sport Compact Car next month.
 
about 22k+ for a car w/ around 270hp and does about 13s is actually pretty good. It's like the japanese sports cars of yesteryear
 
Well, until I see some timeslips and a dyno chart, preferably in front of your car for verification, I'm going to pass on your claim that you're a super car modding enthusiast.

What does the WRX have? @Stock, it's about ~180 WHP because of the power lost by the drive train.
So if you're @300+whp, obviously you're going to pull.

It's kinda funny because I don't even bother racing anybody on the streets regardless if they're trying to provoke me.
