waht should i overclock my ati x300se to

what mhz should i overclock my card to, right now it is at 325 core and 300 mem, my system is a 2.8 dual core with 1 gig ram and basicly i play bf2 not a hardcore gammer just gammer

well unless you feel your one or two fps to slow in bf2 i'd leave it be. if it has good cooling you could just try upping in till you see artifacts than back it down a few mhz.
i wouldn't expect anything major though.

Just OC it until you get artifacts. ATI tool is good for OCing, just google how to use it and do your research first. And as others have said, don't expect much improvement.

If you want a significant increase in performance, then I'd say upgrade the video card.

i know my card is bad, and yes i can play bf2 on it but im gonna buy a new card later, im jsut trying to figure out what i can do to improve performance

i think you can overclock the core to 375mhz...not sure though...depends on the cooling system...

for the memory im not sure, is it a hypermemory model?

don't bother. OCing a x300 is pointless, and you really cannot truly OC hypermemory. Disabling hypermemory would really hurt because you'd be cutting your video RAM in half or more.

If you really want to OC it, ATI Tool will do it. Just OC the core, not the memory.
