waht is a .1-step file?

im at my dads office, and i just formatted the one computer and i didnt take to note what program they used to backup, i put the zip discs in, and the files in them are in .1-step can someone tell me what program i can use to extract these files...
help !!

I think it is the Iomegaware for zipdrives, since I had other hardware by them that used a program called 1-Step.
