Ian Joseph Douglas was born today at 4 PM EDT.

He is 6 weeks premature, but all indications are that he is small but healthy and fully developed.

No Pics as I am at work, and was not there for the delivery.

4 LBS 12 OUNCES, AND 18.5 INCHES LONG.

Small little sucker, and they have taken him to the PICU for observation. but all is well.

Congrats Uncle Ulfie! :D

I've gotten used to the Uncle-Thing. My brother is one of those Fundies and he and his God-chosen-partner don't believe in birth control. 5 kids in 7 years and no sign (or admission) of stopping.

The fact that baby #3 almost killed his wife (placenta broke during delivery and she wound up with blood poisoning) has had no effect; God hasn't chosen to tell them to stop reproducing yet.

Anyway...congrats, Uncle Ulfie!

Why do you have to bring that into this thread?

Grats Ulf!

I've been an uncle since I was 5, does that count for elite status? Maybe it doesn't count because my nephew was more like my brother...good times either way.
