wacom intuos 4 pen buttons

just got an i4 wireless and am still getting used to it. Thing is, the lower pen button (closest to the tip) is unbelievably easy to press unintentionally - much easier to depress than the upper button. I can't seem to find a way to hold the pen comfortably without hitting the button all the time - there's almost no resistance in it.

can anyone tell me if the buttons are supposed to be equally easy to press? if so, I got a bunk pen.

mine works fine. maybe you are putting too much pressure on the button wit your thumb?
my thumb is resting on the button at the lower end, so if i have to press the top button i would have to slide the thumb all the way up. i have the lower button as double click. the top button as right click.

I took the pen apart and looked at the switch. the circuit button itself is positioned so that the lower plastic button arm has a great deal of leverage, making it easy to press. the upper button doesn't have this. Both circuit buttons are about the same resistance, it's just that the geometry of the lower one seems f-ed up.

But I can't imagine it's supposed to be that easy to press. I can't hold the pen with my thumb on the button without pressing it - the only way it works is to put my index finger on the button, mostly holding the pen with my thumb and middle finger. Which is very awkward and hard to draw.

There's room to put something under the lower button to provide more resistance - a small flat area with about 2mm clear to the plastic button lever.

What I need is a 2mm tall spring with a 2mm range of movement.
