Wacom Graphics Tablet 8-Pin

Are there any converters to change an 8-pin to USB or 9-pin Serial Female? If so where can I get one and how much do they cost? I think the 8-pin is whatever Macs used for serial before.

You can't connect that tablet to usb without using a serial to usb converter , which still requires you have the serial port cable for the tablet. You probably can't get the cable anymore from wacom, best luck would be ebay or craigslist. Quick search on ebay showed artz tablet, cables, software , etc for under $30

If your really good with electronics you could open the tablet and make your own cable, soldering the connections.

Your also going to need to read up a bit on differences in RS232 and RS422 to make the correct connections.

I actually have a serial port on my motherboard. But the Wacom in question has a Mac Serial port. So, I need some sort of converter for that. So, I guess what I'm looking for is a Mac Serial to either PC Serial or USB
