I'm having grief with a reinstallation of w98 on my second computer. I've been getting increasing lockups & bluescreens that eventually stop w98 from loading. I reformatted & reloaded, same problem. I run a C2 at 103mz bus with good quality micron 133 ram. I just got a new quantum hard drive so did the reinstall and am on the third try and more problems. One place it hangs is on the system settings. Took about 3 attempts to make settings and get through. Then more problems on other programs as I load. I thought maybe battery?
Today will try 1 stick ram at 66mz. The w98 disk is used for my other machine without a problem. Any insights? I realize it could be any number of things.
