W98Se file errors after reinstall

I'm once again having page faults and want to know if this is a symptom or a problem. System\mfc40.dll load failure doesn't allow me to access some programs and I also get intermittent Iexplore failures to load.

Its a via chipset and I just put in encryption, anti virus and icq and that's when the problems started again. All these things ran together at one time. UT is the favorite game and it only seems to run a few days before freezes start and it becomes unloadable.
 
4.24 Agp only and I put it in right after the det3's for the 6800. On the first install I left the via driver out for 3 days, everything ran fine and then I put it in and started problems 2 installs ago.
