Asus CUBX motherboard
PIII 600E
256mb PC100
2 x IBM 34GXP 20gb hard drives
Matrox G400MAX
Soundblaster Live! 1024 Player
3Com US Robotics 56K internal modem
Teac CD540E CD-ROM
Plextor 121032A CD writer

I'm about to replace my two 20gb with 2x47gb IBMs.

W98 is on C, W2K is on D, both on the first hard drive. I want to move W2K to the first partition on the SECOND drive.

I can use Ghost to actually move the files but what do I need to alter with the dual boot menu? I imagine I need to change the boot.ini file but I'm not really sure what I'm doing with it.

Extra info - the two drives sit on the the CUBX's CMD ('66) IDE ports. The mobos standard IDE ports handle the two CD drives.

Thanks in advance
Rob

btw- I just tried editing the boot.ini file, changing the rdisk parameters to 2 and the partition parameters to 1. - Win2K loaded but then stalled, flashing between the Loading Your Settings pop up windows.
