I want CD support and use fdisk, format and etc. and it doesn't finish loading. the w98se boot floppie goes thru the motions like it's gong to finish loading but doesn't.
I'm running w2k (C:) off a SCSI 19160 adaptec card and all is fine but I want the above mentioned!!
Is there a reason ---maybe because it's scsi and no IDE HD ??

Help Pls.

I'm not sure about your SCSI but it shouldn't make any difference. When you make a boot disk with Windows 98 it puts on CD-ROM support via a generic OAK Technologies driver. It should work for you, too.

I know this answer sounds simplistic but it's the best I can do right now.

Have no fear, though, there are people in these forums who could answer your question properly whilst asleep!
