My mudder's got two machines, an XP machine (easy to set up) and an ol' Win95 box.
LPT.com didn't seem to tell me how to set up that side... WinXP was almost automatic. So, what needs adding in Win95 for a DCC using a DCC via LPT1?

So far, none of the sites have helped much... DCC looks like it's ready to work, but XP and 95 just don't seem to want to communicate! :| Man... I'd love to simply rip out the drive and plug it in by IDE (would be a piece o' cake!) but mom won't let me open her case on either machine. (She's keeping the old P100 as her "backup" computer should anything awful happen to her Dell!)

"TCP/IP reported error 736. The remote computer terminated the control protocol."

[sighhhhhh]

If only that machine had a CDRW.....

Help me make this #%&% connection. I'm 90% there.

Sure it can... it's got it all in the Win95 control panel... W95 is just waiting for someone to connect at the other end and it's WinXP that reports back the error. :(
