I changed service providers and have deleted the "old connection" and the new connection works fine. Except when I go to check the mail (from explorer, already connected) it disconnects and gives warning: Unable to get dial up connection properties for "old connection". As soon as I hit "OK" and it reconnects using the new connection that it just disconnected from and checks the mail. I have deleted the old conn from D-U Networking and in outlook I have added the new mail server as default. I uninstalled client and reinstalled, no help. I can't see anywhere in networking properties that mentions the "old connection"

Thanks!!

In OE, go to tools--> accounts. Click on one of your email accounts and hit "properties" then "connection" and make sure the check box for "always connect using the following connection" is not checked.
Do the above for each of you email accounts that you have.
Also in OE click "tools" and "Options" then "connections" and see if you have the check box checked for "ask before switching dial up connections" If it's not, that would be why its dropping your connection and going to the other one.
