A gentleman really liked my HT system and asked me to setup 3 plasmas in his sales office (he is building a 56 million dollar condo in DC).

Now Im not a Sole Propieter or LLC. Im just doing it for him as a friend - but he is going to pay me through his company.

For a Tax ID you can just give your SS # and if I claim the income on my Tax filing am I good to go? or is that somehow illegal?

thanks!

You fill out the W9 and then you file a 1099 at the end of the year. It's the same thing I've done for a few years now for different businesses.
