This W7 issue has been irritating me for a long while. Hopefully I can articulate the problem well enough.
For example, in any open window (full screen or not), a column of files on the right side is partially cut off because of the window edge.
I want to double click a right-side column file to immediately open.
However, just one click causes all the columns to shift left to display the full file names (I presume), forcing me to move the pointer to the newly positioned file and then finally double click to open.
By instinct I always double click first and end up selecting the wrong file because the original snaps left of its original place. Really irritating.
I don't know what this "feature" is called and if it can be disabled.
Any ideas? Thank you.
