W7 Issue??

Custom Build, Dont know the specs off the top of my head, but it has

1gig of ram with W7 Pro 32bit.

2 problems

1. When it comes back from hibernation its slow as hell, Hard Drive light is on Solid.
2. Click on Outlook or Firefox or any exe on the task-bar (never tested else ware yet), the mouse sits for a few sec as busy and never opens up the program

What can this be? Ram usage is 55% on boot, goes up to 77% with Firefox and messenger open, which is all the computer ever does.

Need more info about the system but 1Gb of RAM is on the low side for Win7.

yes i run on 2 gigs and even with that wishing i could afford two more gigs.

And for some stupid reason I failed to notice the ram I bought was single channel so Ill prob have to pay 50 bucks to get 2 gigs :O, I will prob do that in the near future though. Decent Rig. Just slow :O
