In the Devices and Printers window, first opening, there's an option to update the icons to their actual appearance. I selected yes, but after a while and a couple restarts, they're still the generic icons.

This is trivial, I know, but was wondering if this is fixable.
 
Only a few devices have real device images. It's up to the device manufacturer to provide one, and most don't bother to. My Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard and my Brother laser printer are the only two real images that I have. Even my Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth Mouse doesn't have one.
 
I had images for my Logitech G100s mouse and Viewsonic monitor on a previous installation. It just doesn't seem to want to update.
