W7 and audio drivers?

Installed W7 x64 earlier today. No problems so far (knock on wood). Audio drivers installed fine and I have sound.
The issue is that when I installed Vista I had the regular sound mixer as well as the Relatec (or whatever its called) audio settings for my on board audio. It had alot of options the default windows does not. Can I find the driver on gigabytes site and install over the windows ones or would i have to uninstall the W7's first?? It's just been so long since I installed Vista that I can't remember what order I did things.

It's Realtek and all I do is download the zip drivers, go into device manager, so to Sounds, double click on the Audio to open it up, go to update driver, and point it to the Vista64 section in the Realtek folder and it's done.
