W7&2008R2 - Slow folder contents of mapped drive

Hi all, I have issues with W7 Ent & 2008 R2 File Server, both fully patched. The servers are all VMs in our environment connected to 1GB switch with 100MB desktop switches for the W7 PC's. The VMs themselves are very quick, however mapped drives shown on W7 SP1 from 2008 R2 SP1 are very slow to show contents and drill down, and I mean very slow.
I have tried SMB2 disabled, TCP overflow, offload and chimney settings. disabled autotuninglevel etc, but cant for the life of me work out what could be the issue.
I have patched W7 clients directly into the another 1gb switch (management), and that seems to resolve the issue somewhat. Could the DES-3028 switches not be compatible with SMB2?

Hi all, just an update to advise the issue was indeed the DLink switches. I downloaded and installed latest version and the browsing of the folder structure is now as expected.
