I've posted this already in the O.S. forum but didn't get any responses.
I'd like your opionions on SP2 vs SP3 for w2k. I'm planning on doing a clean install on my
p4b533e p2.4 512mb system.
My friend claims that sp3 lowered his OC'd capabilites. My own exp. w/ sp3 was that Norton Anti-virus stopped working.
I rolled back to sp2 but Norton still doesn't work.
So I'll do a fresh install, maybe something got corrupt on my system.
He has an abit 2.4 oc'd to 2.8, w/ sp2 he was able to do 3.06.
BTW Is directx 9 worth going to ? Are there any issues w/ sp3 & dx9 ?
