I installed W2K Pro about 23 wks ago and it's been working great until last night. My wife was using Printmaster Premier 7.0 and started getting errors. No big deal... Restarted the program and it worked fine.
Later my DirecPC 2 way quit working properly; shut the system down last night and my direcpc 2 way would not work due to some error. something with # 32 in it.
I basically did a system state restore and it works fine. (I tried a full restore but recieved a consistency error). Only thing I had to delete was Norton Antivirus (systemworks 2001) since autoprotect would not work. I will reinstall it later.
How can I stop this from occuring again. I keep it logged on as administrator. Should I stay logged on as user?
I prefer for the computer to be on 24/7 since I use it as an internet server to 2 other computers (laptop and kids).
