w2k geforce gamma help anyone?

i swear there is a fix to let you adjust the gamma in w2k, am i kidding myself or does anyone know what i am missing?

uh, maybe youre referring to Digital Vibrance Control?

no like, the little slider for gamma is greyed out and you cant move it. im not sure acutaly i dont use w2k and i dont even own a geforce at the moment. im asking for a friend becasue he said he had that problem and swore i heard about a fix a while back. anyway, the symtoms are a geforce thats way too dark in counterstrike useing the detonator 6.50s and wk2, but the gamma slider doesnt do anything, so whats up?

ill have 2k and a geforce around in a few days anyway and hopefuly be able to figure it out then, but just though i would try to prepare as best i could and help out a friend at the same time.
