i've been getting this "windows - corrupt file" error stating this:

"The file or directory \WINNT\CSC\csc0.tmp is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility."

i've run the chkdsk util many times, in fact it still runs everytime i boot up. i've looked on microsoft knowledge base and it tells me to reset my offine files and i've done that. the next time it boots up, it will be fine. but later on in the day, the message will pop up again randomly. i've also done a virus scan and nothing was detected. i can't seem to actually find this file in the directory so i have no idea what is wrong here. anyone experience this?

also, how do i get the chkdsk to stop running everytime on bootup?

Why don't you go into your TEMP folder and delete that file? Whatever program created it will probably recreate a good copy of it anyway.

Every once in a while I log onto my TEMP folder and delete any *.TMP files I find. ;)
