W2K "Component Transfer Error"

Error: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

What the heck does that mean? I just did a new install of W2K on my RMA'd hard drive and patched it up to SP2. Now, trying to install Santa Cruz drivers, I get this mess.
