Fearlss1,

I'm confused by your use of the terminology, but I think I know what you want.

MSCONFIG is a "command" (not a "prompt"). There is no direct equivalent for it within the Windows 2000 operating system, but there is a third party (freeware) utility called Startup Control Panel. It's available at Mike Lin's home page. It will show you where (in registry and folders) all of your non-service startup items are. It will also allow you to enable / disable / delete each item. You can download the utility in two forms, Control Panel applet or executable.

Hope this helps. If I misunderstood you, please post back with more information.

Regards,
Jim

Hi,

It works perfectly under W2K. It's widely used and has an excellent reputation.
