I just upgraded my W98SE to W2K this weekend. I'd never bothered to tweak the vid in W98SE, but, decided it might do some good now. No problems with the system, I just wanna improve it a bit. I play Emperor: Battle For Dune and Shogun: Warlords Edition, and would like to squeeze a bit more out of this card before I buy a new one.
In W98, I just used the Creative drivers that came with the card. I dunno what drivers W2K gave me.

1. Suggestions of tweak sites for this card?
2. Tweak programs/utilities?
3. If I end up using Detonator reference drivers, should I uninstall the Creative utility stuff? Hmm....maybe I have to. I've never used it.
4. Driver suggestions?

I know power users never recommend to upgrade, but always to fresh install OS's. If anyone is interested, I upgraded from W98SE to W2K Pro. Upgrade went without a hitch. Only hardware that I hadda get new drivers for was a POS Aztech Winmodem, which W2K warned me about. W2K told me Norton System Works 2000 and Partition Magic wouldn't work, and xxxx'd them out. I hadda d/l a newer Asus mobo software monitor. Nero gave me a warning about ASPI, but still ran. I had planned to reinstall it anyway. So far everything other than that has run fine. I was surprised that Netscrape Communicator 4.73 still worked fine. However, W2K attempted to make I.E. the default browser. Oh, yeah....I've never done a fresh install since W95a.
