W2k and TA Cube RC5 client problem....

I just downloaded the client and installed it under W2k, but there's a problem. W2k reboots by itself whenever I try to open the Task Manager while running the client. There's obviously some kinds of conflict.

Hmm, maybe try backing off the overclock a wee bit, RC5 is not the most demanding program on your CPU but it does work the MMX cores quite hard. Report back, this should be interesting. I am running the Dnet client and SETI on a dual-celeron system and it's been running nonstop under Win2kPro for... 4 weeks, 7 minutes. I have had TaskManager open for the last couple days, too.

I've been running Win2KPro and the RC5 client and the DNET perproxy for several months now, with no problems at all.

Same here i got Win2kPRO on my dually p-3 600 and have had the client, the proxy and task manager opened with no problems....

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo................

I'm guessing you're at 110MHz x 10.5, maybe the mobo is on the bleeding edge and can't handle what Task Manager does. Not the greatest theory but I can't think of any better ones 🙁 If you haven't already got updated VIA 4-in-1 drivers, you might try that too.
