W2000 install, what partition ?

I want to install w2k Pro . The first part of my drive (c) is w98 @ 10gb.
I want a dual boot setup. Can I install clean in drive F (the remaining 35 gig partition of the same drive) without any problem or should I put it in the C partition ?
d of course is a slave drive for backups.
