I emailed the seller and the unit works fine. I don't understand what he is trying to say with that info, but he said it worked fine. If not, I will use it as a flash drive.

Anyone here have this player? Seems like it will be perfect for occasional use, and not too expensive that I have to be afraid to use it.

Recieved the player today. Works perfectly and appears to be brand new. The little sticker wsa still over the screen. 😀 Best $30 I ever spent. All I can think of is that the guy that checked it out at auctiondrop didn't know how to work it. The jog dial on the side doesn't actually play the songs. The buttons on the front do that. Maybe that confused the guy. Who knows and who cares. Great player for a great price!/ 🙂

I have that exact same mp3 player...but mine works..and two years ago when I bought it..I only paid $75 for it..never had a problem with it... 🙂 1.5 Gb baby...I sniped it on eBay as well..
 
If it doesn't work after he assured me it did, I will contact Ebay and leave a negative feedback. The unit oubles as a flash drive so even if he lied about it working it will still be usefull.
