W00t! Work shut down

So it rains a little, snows a little, and gets a little cold and now they have shut down the office for the rest of the day and probably tomorrow. Being from MN, this is pretty whimpy!

What makes it better is that I just turned in my two week notice *AND* we have President's Day off. HAH!

The Federal government just closed here in DC. I am allowed to go home as of 14:00 EST...or 54 minutes ago.

I am in no hurry to go anywhere.

i lived in austin, tx, for several years (originally from the upper midwest) and one day they got 1/2 inch of snow (if that much). it shut down the entire city. it was amazing. so, like you said ... wuss southern states!
