well today is my lucky day I guess, I responded to a thread on the DPReview forums titled "Call for hottest images" where they were looking for pictures from D70 users to use as examples in their D70 E-book, so seeing as I have a D70 i thought WTH and posted a bunch of photos I liked

well to my absolute surprise i get an email this morning telling me that they want to use one of my pictures in the E-book :shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked:

surprised the crap out of me, seeing as some of the people that post pics on that forum take ones that I feel are many times better then mine, but still cool for me, :D

they are still looking for photos so throes of you that have a D70 go toss some in there

I respect a man with skillz. I'm learning to take better pix with my F-100. Oh, btw, how to talk my dad out of wanting a Sony DSC-T1? The old man wants it because it's a Sony, and it's very slim. I tried to get him to like something else, but, I lose every time. I guess what he wants, he'll get.

ooooo F-100 very nice film cam, i wish i had one of them

what kind of camera do you want oyur dad to have? the T1 is nice for takeing snap shots but thats about it

No dude, the Minolta F-100, the 4.0 megapix kind. It's not the greatest camera, but it good pictures. I still haven't read the manual to use all the functions it has yet.

I guess I can get him the T1, simply because it will be good for him, since I can show him how to take pix in less than 5 mins. For more than $400, I can think of many other cameras that's better than it, but since he's kinda old and that's what he wants, I guess I'll respect his wishes.

ahh I thought you ment the Nikon F-100

you could get him a Canon S400 or SD200 one of thoes for the same price or less, and it woudl be better then the sony
