Don't know if any of you remember but a while back I killed my Chevy Crapalier yet again. This time, my parents and I decided we weren't going to fix it so my search for another car began. My search is now over...

I am now the owner of a 1990 Subaru Legacy L 4WD 😀 It's my first Subaru and I really like this thing. It's got dings and scratches but surprisingly little rust considering it's a 16-year old subie...and this is WV. 177K miles but it runs well. I'm happy as a clam 😀

Wish me luck on not killing this one lol

Edit: Forgot to mention the price...got it for $500. Not bad, IMO.
 
I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow since I get off work at 2:30PM. It's a dark blue 4-door sedan with the weird Subaru wheels seen on so many other older Subaras.
 
at $500 it's a good buy... drive it into the ground, then get another one

good thing your insurance is probably cheap. here at NYC, 3 months of liability would cost more than your car...
 
Sniperruff, the $500 Subie drives/feels better than my '96 Cavalier. Much more solid, more and smoother power, better interior, etc, etc, etc. Plus my insurance for State Minimum (WV) would've been 65 bucks/month - for a 23 yr old driver with no accidents/tix.

I really like this car and I hate to call it a beater but for $500...what else can ya call it? 😛
