:Q Turbo II gets cable-bypass surgery! :Q There's also information on how to stealth-route your optical drives' IDE cables, your external 3.5"-drive cables, and even your fan wiring if you're so inclined. :)

If anyone's wondering, the Fanmaster ended up visually clashing a little too much and not being that useful, since I reverted to my super-quiet NMB 18dB fans that don't need mastering in the first place :p Its temperature readings are also prone to jumping around in a 2C range constantly. I crammed it into my home system, where it makes a great night-light ;)

"Boring stuff." ;) Besides being my workstation, it serves lots of files that I need in order to do my job efficiently (pre-patched/configured Office2000 network installer, Acrobat Reader, FilZip, McAfee VirusScan variants, Windows/IE patches and service packs, etc). Fortunately, 18GB drives are plenty big for my purposes so far :D (yes, I do supply my own work PC, is that sick or what :p)

LOL, my new "toolbox" is somewhat reminiscent of my old one. ;)

That is really sweet. I started sleeving my power supply cables a couple weeks ago (gotta finish that up) and I may do this on my Lian-Li PC-60 case. What size hole saw did you use? I think I have one that is fairly small in the garage.

Bloody mess compared to yours

I think it was about 2 inches. I'll check that when I get to work and post with the actual size. :D

I measured the hole by holding a ruler next to it. I think it's 2 inches or a little more (the holesaw isn't here at work, so I'm estimating). Suffice it to say, a 2" hole would be about right :)

Windowed side panel, that might be cool... :) ...and then I'd need a light... and down the slippery slope goes me! ;)

*tries to stop from letting idea get grip on brain*

Nice work, Mech!

You really DID do some surgery there! That's the way a Lian-Li ought to look inside!
