Tough loss for the Avs. Not that I am complaining. I am a die hard Wings fan.

We will now see what Saturday holds. The Wings had all the jump today, and the Avs will probably answer back on Saturday. It is my prediction that one of these goaltenders is going to have to steal a game. Roy almost did today. 🙂

Okay, so it wasn't the 5 hole....I was just excited and posted as soon as I saw it 😛.

The avs just looked tired. I think that last 7 game series got to them.

Man, that was one awesome overtime! Both sides had a lot of shots on goal, but it seemed the Avs had more quality ones, as the Red Wings just pounded theirs in.

But we still won!!! YEAH OLLAUSON!!!

Would you care to explain how the worst team ever had the best record in the NHL for the season? Or how the worst team ever made it to the conference finals?

No way!!! That's awesome.

I was telling my friends at work today that the Wings need to put more shots on net. Waah isn't having a great series (although he played great tonight) and neither is the defense in front of him. I said the magic number was 40 shots, and they got 42. 🙂

I'm still amazed at how the Wings simply beat the Avs to the puck in the corners. There were plenty of times where it looked as if the Wings were on a Power Play, when they weren't. Waah kept them in the game tonight. He can't do that every night. And when the scorers start scoring, the Wings will bring home yet another Cup! 😀
