I know... this is not too rare but I've been fooling around a bit too much with my Duron 700 trying to get it to a gig (need to re-do my permatex defogger kit bridges I think), and decided to give my P3 600E slot 1 a bit of a boost from its original OC to 800 (133 FSB, default 1.65V). It ran stable like that for 5 months now. It's a Costa Rica SL43E.

This is on an Abit BE6-2 rev.2 running with an incredible 167 Mhz FSB (1/4 PCI divisor)! :Q

I decided to set the Vcore to 1.80V just in case and I'll let it stay there for awhile if this stays stable. Then I may try to drop it a little...

I'm using the amazing Kingmax PC150 TinyBGA RAM (set for CAS 3-3-3) and a GlobalWin VGS08H HS/fan (which comes with 2, 40mm 6000 RPM fans on it) and arctic silver. Case is an Enlight 7237 with the side open. I swapped out the V3 3000 AGP card and replaced with the identical PCI model. NIC is a D-link 530TX. It also has a SB Live! x-gamer in it.

It's been running the TLC v. 3.03 Seti benchmark WU for a couple hours now and I'm crossing my fingers...

Never really intended to come back to this machine but I guess I'm glad I did! :D

Gotta get that gig!

Yep Assim1... it is a wild FSB. And will do on the report in! It's about 60% done now... Still hanging in there. I have it booted in linux. I'll see if I can boot it into winblows 98SE and get WCPUID on it to at least mark the moment...

And NOS440 - it's "dudette". Yah... we ladies know how to treat a CPU right... ;)

(/me lovingly strokes her 600E... LOL)
