Well I tried to anyway, but the site wouldn't let me put in two different countries for the Billing Address and Shipping Address sections. So I had to talk to a Customer Service Representative and placed an order during the phone. I still feel paranoid though, since I gave my credit card info to him over the phone. He could potentially write it down and use it for himself. Hopefully that's not the case.

Anyway, I bought a Rear Sway bar and clear corners for the Maxima. I really wanted to buy shocks & springs, but I couldn't afford to spend a little under half my summer earnings on that. So instead of spending $900 CDN, I spent around $270 CDN.

Either way, its the first time I have bought something without physically going to a store (whihc is what I prefer).

You may laugh at me, but I'm paranoid about credit cards and such. I don't want to get scammed. It took a lot of willpower to a) spend over $200CDN on what is really a bent metal rod b) spend it online.

Anyway, the rear sway bar makes a pretty big difference in feel, so its worth it. Next summer, I'll get Progress Springs and KYB AGX adjustable shocks. Then I'm done.

Thank you for permission to laugh at you. 🙂

Even if you do get scammed, your credit card should protect you.

What for? If you get scammed, your credit card company is there to help you. Out of the numerous transactions that I've done on-line, I've only had to switch credit card once through scam. I just called up my credit card company and they resolved it for me.

here's to hoping your first ever online purchase will somehow be spoofed and you will be defrauded and your identity stolen.

cheers!😀

ps: welcome to 1995

yeah. I didn't plan on buying it over the phone, but the online thing wouldn't work with two difference addresses (I'm sending it to my uncle's place in Boston..and I'm going there on Sunday for two weeks..so I can avoid duties if I had shipped it to Canada).
