I'll wait til it's around $20. I got the multimedia natural keyboard for that price. It's nice and all, but I hate the F-Lock and how it always defaults to OFF. I also hate how you have to turn off F-Lock to use PrintScrn. I play wow and I use the f-keys a lot and take screenshots, so it's annoying to have to switch back and forth.

Hey OP. Is the new keyboard like this?

No, it isn't. I just bought mine yesterday, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! If you use the F-lock, and restart, the F-lock stays on - I have a work program that uses the F keys, and I want it on all the time. And it has the insert key in the *correct* spot.

I'm not sure about the riser under my palms but I'll give it some time.

That's quite an endorsement, it must be pretty sweet. The riser seems like it would be cool.

I wonder if this will work out over time?

Thats because you're typing incorrectly. You're supposed to be using your left thumb.
.

i dont think that i have ever hit the space bar with my left thumb, and i do mean ever

I might be wrong. Just googled it now, and some are saying "preferred" is the right thumb, but either is used. Hopefully the keyboard works out for Stretch though.
