w00t Just Bought 2007 Toyota Camry LE - Metallic Blue

Camry and kicks ass should not be in the same sentence.

The car has atrocious body lines, a suspension & driving characteristics for grandma and all the charcter of dry wheat toast.

Great utilitarian car but zero personality!

While I agree with you, if its what the guy likes who are we to rain on his parade.

Enjoy your new wheels🙂

V6 I take it? The 3.5L 2GR-FE is a nice engine. Same one in our 2006 Avalon 280HP (think the new SAE methods lowered the #s it but its the same engine same power) and it hauls ass and smokes rice easily for being a 4 door granny car, and still gets 22-32 mpg doing it.

That 3.5L V6 is the first time the Camry has ever had balls and hasn't been slower than every car on the road in the same year.

You'll get made fun of here (unless you got the V6 😛) since it doesn't have a hojillion horsepower and blow through the 1/4 mile in ~12 seconds, but it's a nice car and near the top of everyone's list.

Camry is a family car. And if camry sucks so much as your infering why is it the most stolen car each year.

Sounds like you just stepped in anthrax.

hehehe, well it is ATOT i expected to get flamed, so I'm not surprised. Anyway it is the 4-banger, because with the gas prices today I didn't see it fit to get the 6. But i Love it. Really do, its an amazing vehicle 🙂

All new cars are amazing until you get slapped with a 3k repair bill trying to keep it like it was you first baught it.

The one thing I don't like about Toyota is that their bodies are made of tin foil and bend when a feather lands on them.

Did you drive the car before you bought it? Did you take a look at theat front-end before you signed the contract?

I've rented a few while on travel and I can't decide which is the LEAST inspiring to drive ... the Camry or the Accord.

What were they thinking when they redesigned it a few years ago?

No flame intended ... just opinions.

Not surprised. They make their cars out of super-light materials so the customer can save on gas. There is always a catch some where.
