Well at least I'm seemingly doing so. Two motivating factors:
1. School is going to start the following week
2. I just got a new fridge.
The first one there isn't much to say except that I won't have time to clean if school is in session. But for the second one...
See I had a fridge before, but I broke it, cause it's a manual defrost and I punctured the coils. Thankfully I gave it to a filipino friend who back in the philippines, they take broken devices and basically refurbish them. My old fridge was placed in my closet (behind the mirrors if you've seen my room) and was required to be elevated. At the time of getting the fridge, only thing I could do to elevate it was to put some tape rolls on their sides and stand the fridge on them, it worked, kind of. Also I'd say the old fridge was more narrow than the new one I have.
So, when I got the new fridge, I decided I needed a better solution to elevate the fridge, so I got 4 concrete slabs, wrapped them in carboard from the fridge box (cut it out) and sat the fridge on top. Before when I had the old fridge, right next to them were all the boxes of things I had purchased, neatly stacked so that it would be most space efficient for the space.
But because the slabs were larger than the enclosure I had artifically made with the boxes, I had to remove every single box, stick the fridge in (I slid it to the left this time) and start stacking the boxes again to maximize space usage. When I stacked the boxes, the ones I was least likely to access I put behind the 'pillar, next to the fridge and the further I went out, the more likely I'd need to access the boxes.
By the looks of things, I'll have more room in the closet now by my reorganizing than I did before, kind of strange if you think about it but I guess it makes sense. Then from there I'll be doing the rest of the room.
