OK, i broke down yesterday and bought my christmas gift for my GF and myself(mostly me 🙂 )
With it i got Sega GT2002 and Jetset radio(sucks), both came with the system.
I also got the Robotech game, 007 Nightfire(kick a$$), and the Toons game for my GF.
I plan on getting Splinter Cell next week.

What other games do you guys recommend.
 
Definitely Splinter Cell, but you have that covered.

I would suggest Ghost Recon, Mechassault, and Jedi Outcast. Halo is a must-have.
 
Halo of course, and I'm sure alot of people will recommend MechAssault, although I think it sucks (but I haven't played it on Live, that might be more fun).

I picked up NFL Blitz 2003 for XBox at Blockbust for $20 pre-played. My roomates and I play this more than anything we have for the XBox.
 
I already have Ghost Recon for the PC and have beaten it. So unless i get a really good deal on it(which i might. One of my friends is a District manager for EBGames)

Ha anyone played Gotham racing? is it better or worse than Sega GT2002?
 
Besides Splinter Cell, Halo, MechAssault, Project Gotham, Metal Gear Solid Substance, Rallisport Championship, and Amped are all great games.

Also if you are into sports games the 2K3 series by SEGA are awesome.
 
Ghost Recon is a different story with XBL. The voice communication changes the whole thing and makes it a ton better.
 
Right now my two favorite games are Splinter Cell and NHL2k3. I would get Halo if you don't have it because that game definitly kicks ass. FIFA2003 wouldn't be a bad choice, either would Mech Assault, or Tony Hawk 3 or 4.
 
The demo of MotoGP that comes with LIVE is AMAZING! I love that game.

I also love NFL2k3 and will soon get Ghost Recon, Medal Of Honor, Splinter Cell, AAAGHHHH so many games I'm excited about!!!!

Yeah, I thought Max Payne was very cool (although many others didn't) It's one of the 1st games I finished and as soon as I did, I started to replay it on the next level.

I've been playing Hitman2 and that's pretty good as well, although I wouldn't call it a must have.

I also got Desert Storm which I guess is like a poverty-stricken man's version of GR but it's fun as well. Got it used cheap. I jumped on too many games right before the onslaught of all the amazing ones listed above.
 
I am also wondering if it's worth it to get the full version of MotoGP. The demo on XBL is just awesome! You guys need to play NFL2k3 on XBL... now that's a lot of fun 😉

SegaGT 2002 sucked because you were too cheap to buy a steering wheel and pedals? The triggers on the XBox are pressure sensitive, so that should help you out some. SegaGT2002 is a great game(not sim), as is Rallisport Challenge. The Xbox does suffer from a lack of quality car games, but that should soon be alleviated.

I digress... I don't like the bond multiplayer experience as much. It is alright, but not my style of play.

Just personal preference of cource.
 
I thought NHL2K3 sucked b/c i is too easy to score. Just skate up right post and shoot left post. Too easy. NCAA2003 is awesome!! MotoGP is just awesome, ut it can make you self destruct!!

Wants:

A sim golf game--TW2003 is boring too.
Crimson Skies--when it is released.

Is FIFA2003 really that good? I love soccer games but they alll seem to be run and score, no passing, no real sim feel.
