This company

Its kids games. God I wish this position was with Capcom or Konami

If you want to drive all the way to Irvine, Interplay is always looking for testers.

Capcom and Konami don't have any US based development HQ's IIRC and they are very selective about testing.

Other companies in LA are ones like Ripcord, EA (I think), and Luxoflux (makers of True Crime: Streets of LA) 🙂

$10 an hour just to play games...sounds grea... oh way, what's that? a company that makes children's games...

That would drive me crazy in about an hour.

How is that a "computer internship"? Isn't that like saying that playing kids games is a computer related business field?I thought you were going to be programming or designing networks or something.

i was about to wish a bear mauled him but thats not a computer internship 😛
so i won't wish that upon him

*mumbles to self about not getting the multiple comp internships i applied for*

that's cool I guess. I skipped over interships and went right into Helpdesk when I was 15. Nice to start early.

Heh, I think Interplay is about 10 minutes away from me. I'm on their list for focus group stuff but I hardly game anymore so they don't call very often. I always get asked about Star Trek stuff:disgust:
