w00t! 4 hour version of Dune is on the sci fi channel right now!

Why would you call this boring? Good Science Fiction does not need a constant stream of explosions, lasers, cute/ugly aliens, nor battling space ships!!! I thought this version was good...I bought it on DVD. I also own the David Lynch version.

Some of the best Science Fiction is pure story... i.e Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World, 1984, Slaughterhouse 5 (carries a deep anti war message within).


That is the Lynch version they are showing!!!
