So my I need to pay my car insurance in a few days. Today my dad reminds me about it so I ask how much, just to double check. Its bee about ~$1100/6 mo. since I've had my own car. So he tells me its $709!!!!! I had to go change my pants. $400 "extra" with my name all over it! Finally I get a nice break my way (financially)

mine is due tomorrow too!

Nothing!! I have a completely clean record; no accidents (at least that were my fault) and no tickets. Could it be I'll be 21 in about a month and I've been driving less then 3 years? Plus I drive a Honda and have coverage up the wa zoo...

Erik, this is the first meaningful drop since I've been driving.

im yet to see a meaninful drop.. I got a drop of 100 bucks for the focus on renewal.. but the thing is this.. so far i have always been paying about the same amount..

from day one.. even with different insurance companies.. and I have 1 accident (bike) and no tickets. The accident will disappear in about a year (they keep it on record for 3 years right).

He's probably under 18 years old. I know when I was 16, my insurance was $930/6 months. To boot, I've never had a moving violation OR been in an at-fault accident.

Crazy expensive.

I think I'm getting a steal for 825 yr for liablity only, 25/50/10 with uninsured motorist. But then we're talking lame 4 door sedan and somewhere called Riverside, CA.
