I just got my MSI 6336 (i815e) mobo and I can't seem to get it to do what I want. I've read the manual several times and I'm NOT a newbie to board or overclocking but this manual/board isn't making me happy. I have a C-566 that overclocked just fine in my Soyo BA+IV to 850MHz but I can't get the MSI to do the same. It seems that if I run a 100Mhz FSB then I get the following bus speeds,
PCI-50MHz
Memory-150Mhz
AGP-100Mhz
Is this a chipset or board limitation? As a last ditch effort I tried all the positions of the jumpers that are used for OC'ing and still nothing but the above speeds. Needless to say that at those speeds the system is unstable. Why don't Anandtech and Tom Pabst look into these things instead of just running CPU's that are rated for 133MHz FSB? I don't know if it's me or not but I've tried everything and I think it is the chipset or MSI's utilities. Has anyone else used a I815 board w/a Celeron and got it to run at a 100mhz FSB with the typical BX settings of a 33MHz PCI and 66Mhz AGP? I'm just trying to see if it's Intel or the Mobo manufacturers that dropped this ball. Needless to say I now wish that I got the SoyoBA+100 instead.
Thanks in advance

This is a long shot. Is there a setting in Bios named "Spread Spectrum" enable, or disable? This setting has a noticeable effect with some older MSI mainboards.
