Bush repeatedly criticized Clinton while in office, frequently talking about the recession he inherited in much the same way that Obama talked about the recession HE inherited. (Obama's rhetoric has been harder, but the recession is way harder too). In addition he repeatedly criticized Clinton for what he viewed as bad policy towards terrorism in the 90's, leading Osama and co. to conclude that we are weak.

Is everyone's memory really that short? Every president criticizes their predecessor if they are from the other party, and a huge percentage of presidents criticize each other when out of office.

Seriously, just google 'Bush blames Clinton'. Anyone who can't remember presidents criticizing each other (and their predecessors in particular) just hasn't been paying attention.

What was so good about him? Invading Iraq? No. Letting 9/11 happen? No. Katrina? No. At the helm under the biggest economic collapse since the Great Depression? No.

The only thing I like about Bush is the fairly non invasive, easy recovery, waterboarding to get actionable intel everyone is up in arms about.
