Just got shot down. Will call again in a few and give it another shot.

Edit: Got it on the third try.

Awesome deal. I went from 1 phone with data and 2 without to 3 with data and lowered my monthly bill.

I got it, but they refused me at first. It increased my bill for 4 phones but they all have data now. Woot.

Current ($61.58 before taxes after discount)

450 / 250 / Unlimited

Unlimited ($61.59 before taxes after discount (assuming it is applied to the whole amount))

450 / Unlimited / Unlimited

So, I would really only be gaining unlimited text. I just signed up this week, so I'm going to wait and see if I even get close to the 250 text limit.

Interesting...I'd rather try to get on with my brother-n-law's 25% discount than this plan

The family plan is the best part of the deal IMO. You can get 3 lines with unlimited data for $160. Thats barely more then you would pay for lines without data under Verizon's current pricing.

I agree. The family plan is very good if you can use the data portion. I have 4 lines, and it will be $180 for all four, with data. I'll add a fifth soon for another $20. That's five lines for $200 when the data alone separately would be $150 ($30x5). Not bad at all.

Don't forget to check to see if your company has a corp discount. Can be another ~$30 off of a family plan.
