VxD error....what does it mean?

I had Win ME working without a hitch on my CUSL2 700e machine. Then I had to re-install it. I'll spare you the details which only serve to make me look stupid. Now, every time I boot I get a blue screen message with something like this: OE @ 0078:C006115d in VxD VNETBIOS. I should add that I have loaded NOTHING onto the drive except Win ME. And I first got this message when Win ME was doing it's initial search for hardware.

What does that error mean? What do I do?

Thats weird... VNETBIOS.. do you have NIC card in while it's installing ?

Also, is this system oced ?

Try turning off stuff in the BIOS to make it faster, such as video/bios cache, etc.

nope... no net card.... no o/c'ing. I will try to install again. This time I will do it with no accessories (scanner, pilot, etc) plugged in.
