I originally was going to get the NEC, but then I saw the coating it had first hand (wasn't for me). I had already had a 2005fpw along with a 2007fpw that I got for $150 from my brother who was wanting to get something else. I was happy with that for a while as it had very little banding. Don't get me wrong, it was still there and I could notice it on 3D apps, but it wasn't exactly driving me crazy. The colors were good on it, backlight bleeding was a lot less than my 2005, and did what I wanted it to do.
Then in a local store today I saw a VX2025 displayed. I was impressed with it, and the store was selling it at an awesome price that included a 2-year exchange policy where if I were unhappy with it (dead pixels, bleeding, etc.) I could bring it back to the store and exchange it for a different one that day. I pulled the trigger and brought it home, plugged it in right next to the 2007fpw and WOW

I thought there wouldn't be much of a difference considering I used this monitor comparison site that xtkinght provided (very cool site by the way) and from what I could tell my using their comparison function on their website, the 2007WFP looked almost better in some cases. I was wrong.
