So I bought the logitech VX revolution about 9 months ago. Recently I have noticed that the free scroll doesn't work as good. There is a switch on the button to turn it on and off, but when it's on it only free spins while you are actually moving it. When I first bought it, it would continue to spin when you took your finger off it.

Coincidently, if you turn the mouse upside down, it will free spin like before. Does anyone know how I could fix this to get it scrolling like before? is it a cleaning issue (i don't see a way to open it up). Would this be covered under the warranty?

Guess its just the way the mechanism is made because I had the same problem.. then mine stopped working after six months. The buttons and scroll wheel still worked but not the tracking. I called in to Logitech and got the LX8 as my replacement. Sorry couldnt be more helpful.
