Relax. Our forums, and many others, have business relationships with major vendors, including Newegg, where they pay us for clicks on links posted to their sites from our forums.

It's all OK. 😎

It's tempting, but I'm not sure if I will be able to see the difference. By the same token, if I do see a difference I will want to spend even more money to replace my current monitor and have two 120hz units. Anyhow, I'll sleep on it and see what I come up with. Thanks.

Why does that link redirect to some forwarder and why are you trying to disguise it?

This thing looks very sketchy so I reported your post

Not sure if I see what you're trying to point out. If you mean the detonator thing I think it's just something innocuous to make ad revenue for the forums.

You will see a difference. I can't believe how many times someone has said "you can't see more than 60 frames" or something along those lines and it has left me shaking my head.

120 hz on a TV is a gimmick. On a computer monitor, it makes an enormous difference.

@Harvey - had no idea about that. Typically links like that just scream something illegitimate.

Just got up from my nap. Will there be any negative consequences from running 60hz and a 120hz monitor at the same time in terms of performance or temperature? Also, is eye strain a problem in a case like this? Thanks again for your relies.

Newegg has the Asus VH238H monitor for $154.99 after $10 rebate this weekend. Use promo code " EMCYTZT615 ".
