I think Encryptic is right. They're built in the same factory as the Porsche Cayenne, btw.

I saw a factory tour thread over at the vortex, and it looks like a friggin' house! The factory is cleaner than my room, no joke. It appeared to be in Europe.

Nope. They are assembled in the Transparent Factory in Dresden, alongside the Phaeton and Porsche Cayenne.

Edit: The VW New Beetle and Jetta are built in Mexico I think.
